FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • What level of assistance do you offer on trips?
We provide standard group support with a staff-to-traveler ratio that ensures safety and engagement for all travelers. For those that require more individualized support, 1:1 support is available for an additional fee. Our team works closely with travelers and their guardians to determine the right level of support before each trip.
  • What are the sleeping arrangements on trips?
Each traveler has their own bed in a shared room with another traveler of the same gender. We do our best to match roommates thoughtfully based on age, preferences, and supports needed. If a same-gender room is not available or if a traveler prefers not to share a room with another traveler, we may offer the option to share a room with a staff member or arrange a private room for an additional fee, depending on availability.
  • How are medications handled on trips?
Travelers must bring all medications pre-packaged and clearly labeled according to our medication policy. Staff can provide verbal prompts and reminders, and assist with self-administration, but cannot administer medications directly or pop pills from bubble packs. If a traveler requires injections or nursing-level support, prior arrangements must be made. Failure to bring medication properly prepared may result in the traveler not being allowed to participate in the trip, and a refund will not be issued.
  • What's included in the cost of a trip?
Each trip includes lodging, transportation, meals (as specified in the trip itinerary), group activities, staff support, and basic travel coordination. Some trips may also include admission fees, park tickets, or event passes. Travelers are responsible for personal spending money, souvenirs, optional excursions, specialty food or beverages, and any other non-included extras. A full list of what's included will be provided for each individual trip.
  • Can I book a custom or 1:1 trip?

  • How do I pay for a trip?

Instructions for payment, including who to make checks out to and where to send them, will be included in your registration confirmation. If a family member or staff would like to accompany a traveler, please contact us in advance to discuss options, availability, and associated costs. All accompanying individuals must complete required documentation and agree to the same policies as other travelers.
